How to think about stacking GHRP-6

  • GHRP-6 acts at GHS-R1a. Its complementary partner is a GHRH analog, not another secretagogue.
  • Its marked reported appetite stimulation is the practical differentiator. In a fat-loss-oriented stack it works directly against the objective; in a mass-oriented one it is sometimes the reason it is selected.
  • Like GHRP-2 it is reported to be less selective than Ipamorelin, with cortisol and prolactin effects attributed to it.
  • No controlled trial has studied GHRP-6 combined with anything.

What to avoid, and why

  • Pairing two ghrelin-receptor secretagogues (Ipamorelin, GHRP-2, GHRP-6, Hexarelin) is the same redundancy on the other pathway — same receptor, same downstream pulse. The coherent construction takes one GHRH analog and one secretagogue, not two of either.
  • Using GHRP-6 in a fat-loss-oriented stack, where its reported appetite drive works directly against the objective.
  • Pairing GHRP-6 with Ipamorelin or GHRP-2 and expecting additive GH release — same receptor.
