How to think about stacking Hexarelin

  • Hexarelin acts at GHS-R1a. Its complementary partner is a GHRH analog, not another secretagogue.
  • Reported receptor desensitisation with continued use is more prominent for Hexarelin than for the other secretagogues, which is why reported protocols emphasise defined blocks rather than open-ended use.
  • It is reported to affect cortisol and prolactin, like the other older secretagogues and unlike Ipamorelin.
  • No controlled trial has studied Hexarelin combined with anything.

What to avoid, and why

  • Pairing two ghrelin-receptor secretagogues (Ipamorelin, GHRP-2, GHRP-6, Hexarelin) is the same redundancy on the other pathway — same receptor, same downstream pulse. The coherent construction takes one GHRH analog and one secretagogue, not two of either.
  • Extending a Hexarelin block on the assumption that longer is better — reported desensitisation makes that counterproductive.
  • Combining Hexarelin with Ipamorelin, GHRP-2 or GHRP-6 — same receptor.
